Twins..but still so different!
hello to all our wonderful family and friends. We are seeing so many little miracles happen because of the faith and prayers we have all put into these two precious boys. We are so sorry about the lack of updates but Dawn went out of town and mom and dad just got access to the website yesterday so mommy and daddy are in control. Wow have these boys grown ...Kevin is up to 2lbs. 9 oz. and keagan is not too far behind at 2lbs 7 oz. both the boys have been stable on the oscilating ventilator. Keagan is off all fluids except for momies milk( he's actually getting 21 cc's of milk) He should give his brother a pep talk so that Kevin can pull past just getting 1 cc. He's a tough cookie though, we are proud of both of them. Over the past week or two Kevin was having trouble with his intestines and we were asking for prayers for poop...well they payed off. surgery was set for august 11th but it has been put on hold because he's pooping now! yea Kevin. Kevin also has shown little change in the liquid circulation in his brain so the surgeon has began a series of 6 brain taps to relief some of the pressure by taking out some of the liquid. He has already had one and has another shceduled for wed the 17th. What a surprise that last night when me and chad showed up Keagan had been moved up to the conventional ventilator and was stable , the nurse said I could hold him for the first time! it was such a blessing and put these boys into such reality. They are so precious! I held him for about an hour, he did great! We hope he is stable enought tonight so daddy can hold him. check out the new photos and we love you all!
